1) Field Officer:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from recognized university or institute.
OR M.Sc. in Botany with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
And Computer literate with knowledge of computer fundamentals and working knowledge in Windows/ Linux operating system, word processing, electronic worksheet, e-mail etc.
Pay scale: – Rs 9300-34800 plus grade pay 4200 per month.
2) Senior Clerk:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in any stream with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
And Familiar with office productivity software like word processing, spreadsheet.
Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2400 per month.
3) Junior Chemist:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in Chemistry with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 1900 per month.
4) Junior Microbiologist:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in Microbiology with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 1900 per month.
5) Agriculture Demonstrator:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Botany or Forestry with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 1900 per month.
6) Extension Assistant:-
Eligibility: – 
Candidates should have passed Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Botany with 60% marks from recognized university or institute.
And Must have working knowledge in computer.
Experience:- Minimum five years experience in Plantation Management.
Pay scale: – Rs 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2400 per month.
Age limit: – Candidates should be maximum 30 years as on 01 June 2016.
Age relaxation:- The upper age limit relaxable for reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Application fee: – Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 400 by through demand draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, Spices Board payable at Kochi, Kerala.
SC, ST, P.W.D., Ex-servicemen and female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Selection process for Spices Board Recruitment: – Selection will be through Examinations in multiple phases. {Objective tests (MCQ) and/or Essay type tests}. Practical tests may also be held wherever necessary.
Exam center:- The examination will be held at Srinagar, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Guntur, Gangtok, Guwahati and Aizwal etc.
